22 January, at 14:00 Cadet Ball of Faculty of Military Education will take place in SUSU Performance Hall. The ball will be carried out for the first time, but soon it will become a traditional event for South Ural State University.
The participants of the celebration are the students from 3, 4, 6 and 8 cadet grades of the city schools No. 15, 36, 47 and 98; these schools are in close cooperation with SUSU Faculty of Military Education within the framework of the patriotic education program.
Among the guests of the event there are the representatives of Chelyabinsk Board of Education.
5 pairs of participants from each school will waltz to the music of Khachaturyan written for the play of Mikhail Lermontov “Masquerade” / “Maskarad”. Also the quests will enjoy the performances of the University creative groups. The audience will comprise 200 school children and their parents.
At the end of the ball all the participants will be given presents and the best pairs will be awarded.
The organizers are sure that such a unique event will help us to remind about the old tradition of military balls in Russia.
