The selection of projects for a final round of the program “U.M.N.I.K”, organized by the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology will be held at the University in the framework of the forum “Science of SUSU”. The winners of the final round will get funding in the amount of 400 000 rubles.
Students can participate in the elimination round during VIII Postgraduate and Doctoral Student Scientific Conference. They should register at the portal and choose the field “Selection” / “Semi-Final Round at SUSU within VIII Postgraduate and Doctoral Student Scientific Conference”.
On condition that you have filled in the registration form correctly your work will be considered by the jury, which will also select candidates for project financing within the activity No. 3.2.1 of the Roadmap.
The curators of these competitions pay attention to young scientists, whose application form at the portal http://umnik.fasie.ru/chelyabinsk/ has a general nature. That’s why it’s allowed to leave blank a number of fields, for example, questions regarding commercialization of research and development findings.
The University relies on young scientists as generators of innovation ideas and engines of progress in creating domestic products as part of a tendency to import substitution.
“It’s your chance to get financial support in order to be a scholar and develop the science”, the Deputy Head of Science and Innovation Directorate, Candidate of Science (Engineering) Evgeny Iogolevich points out. “For young scientists it’s important not to expend their energy in searching financial resources. They should be concentrated on research tasks and development of their own ideas”.
