SUSU Museum Exhibition “Peoples and Technologies of the Ural Region” is Opening an Excursion in the “Kazan Kremlin” Museum

 The "Peoples and Technologies of the Ural Region" Museum, part of the SUSU’s National Educational Center for Eurasian Studies took part in an exhibition which opened in the State Museum and Reserve of Historical Architecture and Art, “Kazan Kremlin”.

The exhibition is dedicated to the early nomadic peoples of the Southern Trans-Urals – the Saka, Sarmatians, and the Huns, who lived here in the 1st century, B.C. Items from SUSU’s collection are presented in the exhibition alongside 10 informational stands which reveal various aspects of nomadic life – husbandry, the art of war, burial ceremonies, social order, and more.

The exhibition was accepted with great interest. According to the organizers, it will begin a tour in the Museum of Tatarstan Statehood, since the exhibition gives insight into the early periods of the history of nomadic peoples.
