Summer School in the Area of Humanitarian Sciences in Japan

 

The higher school of design of Kyushu University in Fukuoka (Japan) invites master’s and post graduate students to attend a summer school dedicated to humanitarian sciences, Human Science International Course.

The training consists of 15 theoretical lectures and practical lessons in laboratories. The lecture – Advanced Design and Technologies for Human Science is a short review of the whole academic program for the international course of humanitarian sciences. Candidates can count on full or partial compensation of costs of round-trip economy-class tickets to Japan, housing, food (living in a dormitory with a communalkitchen and internet).

Participants in the program can be: master’s students and postgraduates who are studying outside of Japan (with preference given to master’s students) with excellent command of the English language, who have a recommendation from their scientific advisor.

For participation in the program, candidates must submit the following for consideration:

  • Application for program partcipation;
  •  Recommendation letter from scientific adviser;
  • Transcript with grands (bachelor’s and master’s);
  • Letter of motivation in English (no more than 800 words).

All of these documents must be sent to Assistant Professor Gerard Remijn at remijn[at]design.kyushu-u.ac[dot]jp in pdf format before June 13th, 2016.
