Rector of the Academy of Management under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almaz Nasyrov provided opening words to the guests, noting the importance of holding such round tables on the threshold of the annual Tashkent Summit of the Shanghai Organization for Collaboration.

Almaz Turusbekovich noted, that the Kyrgyz president, at a meeting of the Higher Eurasian Economic Committee, offered to focus all efforts on eliminating barriers standing in the way of the main goals and objectives of the integration process.

«Therefore, at our round table, we need to discuss the mechanisms of interaction between business, science, and state and public organizations of EEU countries, as our people, Russian and Kyrgyz, have no other alternative,» noted Almaz Nasyrov.

Doctor of economic sciences, professor Viktor Katochkov, noted that the long-term positive effects of integration with the EEU are tied to the realization of the potential of forming a true shared market, and the formation within this market of stable conditions for the improvement of the economic dynamic. They are also tied to the modernization of the commercial structure and the development of economic activity, including between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.

In his speech, doctor of economic sciences, Uran Abdynasyrov, noted that it is necessary to move the Eurasian Economic Union to the level of development where all countries of the Eurasian continent have an absolute understanding of the “win-win” of forcing inclusion in the process of Eurasian integration. Russian-Kyrgyz cooperation plays an important role in this process. Additionally, Uran Abdynasyrov concluded that establishing a shared Eurasian market is also a subject for fundamental and applied scientific study. They must not simply copy foreign models, it is better to consider the economic, cultural, historical, demographic, and other characteristics of our countries.

The main idea of the speech made by candidate of economic sciences, assistant professor Turdubeka Dzhaparova, was that currently it is necessary for EEU countries to shift to a new strategy for stimulating innovations which provides for the increased expenditures for the formation of a unified Eurasian innovative space, expanding horizontal and vertical coordination of innovative policy, and strengthening its regional (national) components.

«For this, the activation of society’s scientific-technical and innovation potential, formation of a conscious and creative relationship to innovations, and the strengthening of the influence of science, education, and culture on the innovative reform of technology, the economy, and management must become the highest-priority conditions,» said Turdubek Dzhaparov.

Doctor of economic sciences, professor Saltanat Tursunova, discussed the prospects of the industrial sector of the Kyrgyz Republic in the EEU. From the perspective of Eurasian integration prospects of the industrial sector of the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic it is possible to discuss both the issues which can make the integration process more difficult, and existing competitive advantages. Saltanat Askarovna listed the hydroenergy potential, surveyed mineral reserves, and the established basis of trade and economic relations in the clothing industry area and agriculture as the competitive advantages. All of these factors, given their successful use in the process of integration into the EEU structure, can minimize the negative effects of integration.

«In this relationship it seems that the Kyrgyz Republic’s European economic integration can be successful and return high dividends for the industry sector and as a whole for the country’s economy, only given clearly calculated and verified tactics of action by the leadership of the republic in identifying problem issues and «critical points» of the economy and their resolution or the maximal reduction of their negative influence based on leveraging the competitive advantages of the Kyrgyz Republic’s economy within the framework of a sound economic policy,» concluded Saltanat Tursunova.

Baktykan Torogeldieva, candidate of historical sciences, discussed the formation of communal cultural values in the EEU.

Participants of the round table noted that the entrance of the Kyrgyz Republic into the EEU would open huge opportunities for both businessmen and for the common citizen, who might travel to the Eurasian Economic Union member-states for work or study. The government and business are gaining the necessary experiences of cooperation with one another. Members of the round table agreed with the words of the president of the Kyrgyz Republic, «We are responsible for the future of the Eurasian Economic Union and for the future of our countries. We need the work, patience, bravery, and cooperation of our people and government leaders as well as all ministers and departments. I believe in the future of the EEU.»
