On July 10th, South Ural State University was visited by a delegation from the Heilongjiang Province (China) with the goal of being introduced to the manufacturing and research potential of the Chelyabinsk Region and create mutually beneficial contacts.
The guests held talks with the university rector Aleksandr Shestakov and vice-rector for international activity Viktor Katochkov, in which they expressed their desire for future partnership, especially in manufacturing.
“We had a little time to visit the Chelyabinsk region but we saw your technoparks ad they really impressed us. We have a god foundation for partnership in science and technology,” noted Yan Tinshuan, head of the Department of Science and Technology of the Heilongjiang Province.
In addition, an excursion of our university’s media was held for the delegation: SUSU-TV, SUSU Radio, the editorial office for the newspaper Technopolis, and the multimedia newsroom. Guests were impressed by the work of SUSU’s journalists and they expressed their gratitude for such a warm welcome.
