Animation Day Held at SUSU

Animation Day was held at South Ural State University. Students of School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science acted as organizers of the event.

Animation Day is an annual event held at the university. This year, organizers decided to hold the event in a format of fair-and-festival. Participants could see human-sized dolls, colorful photo zone and contest stations.

“We have many various games at the stations. For example, at one station there is a table with cans inside of which one should fling a table tennis ball from a certain distance. Winners in any competition receives tokens which in the end can be exchanged for prizes: different balloons in the form of cartoon characters, badges, sweets, presents from our sponsors and certificates for free henna tattoo. For the last one we have a separate station where our artist is making tattoos with henna,” says a freshman student of the EECS, Maksim Popov.

Students from all institutes competed hard for the tokens by taking part in an intellectual quiz.

“We were asked questions about cartoon characters. I correctly answered the question about the character who regretted having a Birthday just once a year, and for that I received a badge and tokens that can be exchanged for sweets,” said a student of EECS, Olga Solodovnikova.
