Registration for Participants of Student League of CASE-IN International Engineering Championship is Now Open

On January 25 of 2019, registration for participants of Student League of the International Engineering Championship called CASE-IN has started. Participants are going to solve an engineering case on the common topic of the Championship, Digital Transformation.

CASE-IN International Engineering Championship is an international system of competitions in solving engineering cases held among students, school children and young specialists. The goal of the Championship is to popularize engineering education and attract the most promising specialists to the fuel-and-power and mineral-and-raw-material industries.

CASE-IN Student League is a science-to-practice competition consisting of on-site and online selective stages taking place at higher education institutions, as well as of a final stage held in Moscow. The competitions are held in six categories: geologic exploration, mining, metallurgy, oil-and-gas engineering, petroleum chemistry, and electric power engineering.

More than 5000 students representing  56 higher education institutions of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic and Tajikistan are to take part in the Championship.

In the frameworks of selective stages, teams (of 3 to 4 people each) formed out of students and postgraduates of leading engineering higher education institutions of Russia and the near abroad solve engineering cases - practical tasks based on real industrial situations in companies of the fuel-and-power and mineral-and-raw-material industries and regarding topical problems of a real enterprise.

The winner of each selective stage is one team which gets the right to take part in the Championship finale.

Students and postgraduates of engineering higher education institutions of Russia and the CIS countries, in which selective stages of the Student League of CASE-IN International Engineering Championship are scheduled to be held, are welcome to participate. Schedule of the selective stages is available on the project’s website.
