Team of students from SUSU Physics Faculty is the prize winner of All-Russian Student's Tournament of Physicists

At Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) All-Russian Student's Tournament of Physicists took place. 9 teams from the leading higher educational institutions of Russia participated in that Tournament.

Tournament of physicists is a fascinating show in which the knowledge and ability to think are examined. Also the major role of this tournament is the active work of the whole team as united research group. After all not only the level of knowledge and self-organization of an individual participant is important but also the preparation and readiness of the whole  team.

At the tournament for each game one of teams assumes the role of speaker, another – the role of opponent and the third becomes the reviewer. The speaker defends some task as the scientific work and the opponent and the reviewer actively  criticize the solution of the task in an aggressive way because such a vivid acting will help them to  gain  additional points from the jury.

The team of Physics Faculty which represented SUSU at the Tournament consisted of   Boris Bogatyrev (Ph-433) and Vitaly Nevgod (Ph-433). The leader and the coach of the team was Kirill Stanislavovich Bedov, Senior Professor of General and Theoretical Physics Department.

SUSU team became the prize winner of the Tournament and got the diploma of the 2nd  degree.

Bogatyrev B.D. became the winner of the Tournament of Physicists and got the diploma of the 1st degree in the nomination “best player” and the diploma of the 3rd  degree in the nomination “Best Review”.

The Tournament was very interesting; all the students got unforgettable impressions and valuable experience in communication with students and professors from MIPT and other higher educational institutions.

We would like to congratulate the team of students from Physics Faculty with  such a success!
