Education at international level: Irina Smirnova, Associate Professor of Trade and Economic Faculty, will give a course of lectures in business management in Antalya

In December Irina Gennadevna Smirnova, Associate Professor of Trade Economy Department of SUSU Trade and Economic Faculty went to Turkey as she was invited by Antalya Academy of Tourism to give an author's course of lectures in business management for future managers in the sphere of hospitality.

During one month the students of Academy of Tourism will study the courses “Hotel business management” and “Human resource management in hotel business” under the supervision of Irina Gennadevna. By the end of the courses the students will pass the qualification examination which  will be checked in American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute, one of the oldest and most prestigious educational institutions in the world.

“It is a great responsibility for me because the students should pass very serious certification and confirm the high level of competence in hotel economy management. We will solve a lot of cases and practical skills are going to be trained in business games and trainings. Besides, the lectures are completed with my own examples from my professional experience as businesswoman and head of the company”, – says Irina Gennadevna.

Irina Gennadevna being the expert in psychology of management and business is engaged in business and administrative activity for more than 20 years and for more than 10 years she works in the sphere of pedagogics of the higher school. Since 2007 she is the associate professor of Trade Economy Department and gives to the students of Trade and Economic Faculty the special courses in commerce psychology, strategic planning, trade and service organization, management of trade enterprises and services sectors, organization of commercial activity and human resource management.
