One of the most difficult and significant decisions in the life of every man is the choice of his future profession; and the risk of mistake is very high. This problem was discussed at the round table which was held on March 28 in the conference hall of Office-Center "VIPR".
At that event the following urgent issues were touched upon: how to help a school child to choose a profession? who should be professionally oriented: children or parents? why is there no connection between the educational institution and employer? why is there no state support concerning the professional orientation? and many other questions.
The round table discussions were attended by school children and students of the city, teachers of educational institutions and universities staff, representatives of Youth Chamber at Chelyabinsk City Duma, Main Department of Labour and Employment of the region, Employment Center, Youth Department of Administration, SUSU Association, experts of "Kompas" Club and a great number of projects and organizations the activity of which was directed towards the current problems.
The event was organizes in the framework of professionally oriented city role playing Club "Kompas".
The school children of 10th form who want to determine their future profession are welcome to take part in the classes from April 1 to April 26.
