Trade and Economic Faculty invites to advertisement ideas feast

 
On April 9 in the Exhibition Hall “Science and Technologies of South Ural” of SUSU Trade and Economic Faculty X Festival of advertisement, marketing and PR communications “Green Apple” has been opened.

Andrey V. Shmidt, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of South Ural State University, in the course of the ceremony cut the red ribbon. Also during the opening ceremony the students were welcomed by Vice Rector for International Activity Viktor M. Katochkov; Director of Institute of Economics, Trade and Technologies (Trade and Economic Faculty) Irina Y. Okolnishnikova; Dean of Decorative and Applied Art and Head of Advertisement Department of Chelyabinsk State Agroengineering Academy Anatoly M. Chebotarev; General Director of Advertising Studio Apriori Dmitry Gorbachev; Head of Marketing Department of ZAO “ER-Telekom Kholding” (Dom.ru) Evgenia Gorbatova and other guests and sponsors of the Festival.

The project curator is Deputy Head of Marketing Communications Department and International business trainer Olga Shabalina underlined that every year the Festival becomes more and more widespread. This year more than 250 works of young and talented designers and ad makers will take part in the event. In 2013 42 projects of students from Clark University (the USA, Michigan) and Mount St. Mary’s University (the USA, Maryland) will compete with the projects prepared by Russian students.

Though the participants were not only from the USA; the projects from China, the Ukraine and Belorussia as well as from Moscow, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Naberezhnye Chelny and other Russian cities were presented at the Festival.

In the course of the first day of the Festival the following events were organized: photo session “Admen: heroes from cover pages”, round table “Current problems of modern marketing”, presentation of competitive students’ works in the nomination “Modern marketing research: problems and perspectives” and “PR-project”. Juniors and senior school children took part in business cases solution to promote the service of “business lunch” for Russ House.

The majority of participants marked the advantages of the Festival new format. And a lot of guests before the event started were keeping track of the clay ad heroes at Vkontakte page of the Festival http://vk.com/fest_greenapple.

The Festival still continues! On April 10,11 and 12 you are welcome to attend master classes and performances of specialists in the sphere of advertisement, marketing and PR-technologies, research and practice conference, awarding ceremony and contest of advertisement parodies “Magic of Advertisement”. For the whole Festival week at evening there will be a creative non-stop of Advertisement Academy.
