The methodological seminar and workshop “Peculiarities of teaching Spanish in the Russian-speaking environment” for Spanish teachers and students will be held on December 28 at 13:30 at the Faculty of Linguistics (room 407 in the main building). The event is planned in the framework of bilateral language years – Russian in Spain and Spanish in Russia. The seminar and the workshop will be conducted by a visiting lecturer from Spain Manuela Prieto Ortega.
Manuela has been working at the Department of General Linguistics. She has proved herself as a highly-qualified teacher, a specialist in the field of culture of Spanish-speaking countries, and a talented organizer. It was Manuela Prieto Ortega who organized the traditional for the Faculty of Linguistics festival devoted to the Hispanization Day. She inspired students to put on a theatrical production, sing songs and perform country dances. Manuela introduced Spanish colour to working days of students and lecturers of the Faculty.
