South Ural State University is now officially represented at http://studyinrussia.ru/. The portal developed by the 5-100 Project Office is designed for attraction of foreign students to Russian universities. Possibly, for the first time in the history of higher education the most relevant and needed information about advantages of studying at the best Russian universities is posted on the website.
The interface is aimed at a convenient, quick and qualitative selection of a university, level of education, and field of study. Here one can learn about tuition fees, pass a language test, as well as use an option for selection of educational programs. The website has Russian, English and Chinese versions and more than 2800 higher education programs, the list of required documents, information about possibilities of studying on a state-financed basis, information about Olympiads, reviews of foreign alumni who graduated from Russian universities and a step-by-step application guide in the form of infographics.
Today South Ural State University is the only university in Chelyabinsk at http://studyinrussia.ru/. One can find it following the link “universities” and having chosen Chelyabinsk on the interactive map.
It should be reminded that internationalization, i.e. active attraction of the best foreign students to the University, is one of key positions of the University development in the framework of the 5-100 Project reflected in the Road Map of SUSU. At present, over 2000 international students study at SUSU, and there is more to come. Owing to active work on attraction of foreign applicants, the number of foreign students is going to increase in the near future.
