November 23rd through the 25th a unique forum was held at the N.K. Krupskaya Square of Pioneers and Schoolchildren, “The New Generation Chooses!”, at which children can literally dive into professions they are interested in. This was made possible thanks to an organization of interactive exhibitions in which any child can become, for example, an engineer, and build their first building on their own. The university created special interactive exhibitions especially for this event, thanks to which children can comprehend the ABCs of different professions and create a mental image of their future job.

This entertaining method of getting to know professions has already come highly recommended from past exhibitions where South Ural State University participated. The biggest of these events was the Hi-tech chambionship, at which SUSU presented its abilities alongside MIPT and SPBU.

South Ural State University differed advantageously by its model for accepting all age groups: preschoolers, schoolchildren, and university students. For each of these groups a special group of exhibits was presented. More than 5000 participants attended the exhibition. 76 unique, stimulating systems of technological systems and machines showed how the manufacture process was built to all who wished to see. Participants of the Chelyabinsk professional forum will also be able to get to know this unique development from our university.

In addition, a student conference was held in the Square’s administrative building. The goal of this conference was to acquaint students of educational organizations with new approaches to the process of choosing their educational track and the area of their future professional activity. As part of the Forum, SUSU will be participating in the plenary session for leaders of educational institutions and at the city’s parent meeting.
