The WCX17: SAE World Congress Experience in Detroit (USA) once again gathered leaders of the international automotive industry in the beginning of April. Within the Congress’ more than 100 years of existence, it has earned authority as the largest society of automotive experts.
At this event in particular, the international automotive consortium presents innovative models and technologies. Here, more than 35,000 auto experts from different countries around the world annually learn about new developments in automotive technology, components, accessories, and equipment.
In April, developments by the SUSU Center of Computer Engineering were presented for the first time in Detroit. Andrey Keller, head research of the Center and vice rector of strategic development, and professor Sergey Alyukov evaluated the materials of the congress and gave their presentations about the CCE’s innovative inventions.
Research in the distribution of power across the axles of multi-axle vehicles, movement stabilization, and increasing vehicles’ maneuverability through the individual regulation of tire pressure was of interest of the international automotive society
Articles about the results of the research will be published in the SAE World Congress Experience presentation booklet and indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. In addition, a number of research projects will soon be published in topical automotive science journals. For example, the article about power distribution across the axles of multi-axle vehicles was already accepted for printing by the authoritative American journal SAE International Journal of Commercial Vehicles.
Participation in international-level automotive forums ensures the recognition of the SUSU Center of Computer Engineering’s research in the professional automotive society and the successful internationalization of the university as a whole.
