The 25th Chelyabinsk City and Regional Intellectual Youth Forum “Step into the Future – Sozvezdie NTTM” (“Step into the Future – Contest the Constellation of Scientific and Technical Creativity of Youth”) held under “Step into the Future…” South Ural Intellectual and Social Program for Youth and School Pupils is now closing. During this academic year about 7 thousand school pupils were among the Forum contests’ participants. This year’s 60 research papers were express-mailed to Moscow to participate in the correspondence round of the Russian Young Scientists’ Forum “Step into the Future”.
The Organization Committee of Chelyabinsk City and Regional Youth Program “Step into the Future…” will be holding the Forum’s closing ceremony in the Activity Hall of South Ural State University on January 19th at 14:00.
At the ceremony all the best pupils will be awarded diplomas, medals and cups. The best school, best gymnasium, and best lyceum will also be named. Moreover, it will be announced which district of Chelyabinsk and which city of the Chelyabinsk Region performed best at the Forum.
The best of the awardees will be sent to represent Chelyabinsk and our region to Baltic Scientific and Engineering Contest in Saint Petersburg, to the All-Russian Young Scientists’ Forum “Step into the Future” in Moscow, and to the All-Russian Young Researchers Olympiad “Sozvezdie” in Korolev.
“Step into the Future” Program is part of the state policy on human resourcing of the Russian science. In 2005 “Step into the Future” Program was marked with an education award by the Russian Federation President as the leading program on supporting young researchers of Russia. And in 2017 a team of South Ural school pupils took the 1st place and was awarded the 1st Degree Scientific Cup of Russia at the Russian Young Scientists’ Forum “Step into the Future”.
