SUSU Student Took the Bronze at Archery World Cup

The second stage of Archery World Cup took place in Turkish Antalya. Anton Bulaev, a student of the SUSU Institute of Sport, Tourism and Service, competed in the division of “Compound bow, men” and took the bronze medal as part of the National Team Russia.

“This victory once again emphasizes that the celebration that we recently had, called ‘SUSU is a sport university’ was relevant. This is one more medal to the collection of SUSU student sports and the Institute of Sport, Tourism and Service. This year is a truly anniversary year, and Anton Bulaev proves it with his victories,” noted Vadim Erlikh, Director of the ISTS.

Having successfully performed in individual competition, Russian athletes started team competition at the 5th place out of 19 participating countries. Having won the competitions against the team of Taiwan and the host of the World Cup stage, the team of Turkey, Russian archers Anton Bulaev, Dmitry Voronov and Aleksandr Dambaev competed for bronze medals with a strong team from Italy and took the 3rd place.


Anton Bulaev is a student of SUSU’s Institute of Sport, Tourism and Service, a member of National Team Russia, Master of Sports of International Class, winner of World and European championships and European Cups; silver medalist of Europe Championship, prize-winner of Russia’s championships, many-times winner of national competitions.
