SUSU Joins the Russian Association of Wind Power Industry

South Ural State University has joined the Russian Association of Wind Power Industry.

Russian Association of Wind Power Industry is an independent non-profit organisation, which is developing the market for public interests, as well as for the interests of its members and partners. It was first registered in 2004.

The Association aims at rendering real practical assistance and support to the market players regarding their entering the market, mastering the production, development of wind parks, and obtaining orders for production of components for wind-powered generators, for engineering and construction, and logistics services.

Development of the Russian wind power industry, construction, transfer of technologies, attracting investments to the wind power sector, and development of wind parks in Russia are the strategic goals of the Association.

Currently the members of the Russian Association of Wind Power Industry include the world’s leading manufacturers of wind turbines, major Russian industrial and power mechanical-engineering enterprises, design-and-engineering companies, construction companies, research-and-development institutes, and diplomatic organisations. Today these companies control the Russian wind power industry market.
