On December 10, Traktor Stars versus Polytechnic Stars hockey match dedicated to the 75th anniversary of SUSU is to take place on the SUSU hockey arena (82 Lenin prospect, near the Student’s Hospital) at 1.30 p.m. Organiser of the exhibition match is the Physical Education and Sports Club and the SUSU Institute of Sport, Tourism and Service.
The teams include famous hockey players, winners of national and international competitions of the highest level.
The Polytechnic Stars team is represented by:
- Stanislav Mosharov, Head of the Chelyabinsk City Duma, former player of the Polytechnic team within the period since 1984 till 2005.
- Andrey Mezin, coach of the Traktor Hockey Club, the best goalkeeper of the World Championship 2009, the team member in 1991-1992;
- Nikolay Sukhanov, Master of Sport of the USSR, one of the best sharpshooters of the USSR Championship, season 1987-1988;
- Artem Pletnev, head coach of the Polytechnic Hockey Club, World Champion in Student Hockey 2018.
The Traktor Stars team is represented by the most celeb players as well:
- Andrey Kudinov, the President of Ice Hockey Federation of Chelyabinsk, Master of Sport of the International Class, European League champion, champion of Russia;
- Vyacheslav Ugryumov, merited coach of the Russian Federation, Director of the Traktor Hockey School;
- Sergey Gomolyako, Master of Sport of the International Class, champion of Russia;
- Sergey Yakovenko, Master of Sport, Olympic Games participant.
The match is to take place on December 10 at 1:30 p.m.
