On the basis of the SUSU Department of International Relations and Regional Studies, a round table in celebration of International Political Consultant Day will take place on February 21 at 14.00 at Sigma Education Building. A member of State Duma, Vladimir Burmatov, the invited political consultants, academics and students of SUSU, as well as schoolchildren, and media representatives will participate in the event.
The topic of the round table is “Political Engineering: Technologies for the Formation of Social and Political Reality”. During the event, the participants will discuss such issues as the intellectual potential of the university in the formation of social and political reality, political behaviour in modern Russia, modern technologies and mechanisms of protection against consciousness manipulation.
On February 24, International Political Consultant Day has been celebrated in Russia and abroad for almost 20 years. Traditionally, the Russian Association of Political Consultants (www.rapс.pro), the Russian Association for Public Relations (www.raso.ru), represented by the Committee on Political Technologies of the Russian Association for Public Relations (politteh.ru) and ICCG Consulting Group (www.iccg.ru), act as co-organizers of International Political Consultant Day.
