Chelyabinsk Students Introduced to SUSU Research and Education Centres

On March 12th at South Ural State University, a united career day was held for senior pupils from Chelyabinsk schools. The event was organised by the SUSU Faculty of Pre-University Education and the Municipal Centre of Occupational Guidance for the City of Chelyabinsk.

“The united career day is one of many events the Faculty of Pre-University Education organises to motivate students to make an informed choice when looking at their future specialisation and profession. Participants of this event had a unique chance to speak with representatives of the directors of the schools and institutes, visit laboratories and research and education centres, and learn in-depth information about the fields of training available and admissions terms,” says Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Pre-University Education Ivan Sukhikh.

400 students of the 10th and 11th grade, and around 200 international students of the Faculty of Pre-University Education of the South Ural State University took part in the event.

More than 10 spaces were organised at the university where the students were able to get acquainted with the university’s laboratories and research and education centres, and speak with representatives of their chosen fields.
