This play in not about portraying the relationship between Anton Chekhov and his wife Olga Knipper. Instead, the real story of their relationship became the starting point for a theatrical fantasy about the nature of love. “Love Me. The Diagnosis” attempts to study the mechanism behind “infecting” a person with love and the process of healing after being hurt. The play explores such human actions as love, care, betrayal, and forgiveness.

Giselle is the story about a young girl living with her old mother in a poor village. Giselle is in love with Albert, and she is not aware that Albert is from a noble family and… he has a bride. Albert carefully hides the truth from Giselle. When Giselle finally finds out Albert is not fair to her, she becomes mentally ill and soon dies. The Giselle returns as a ghost, and she learns how to forgive and how to love despite being hurt.
