September 19th through 20th, QS WORLDWIDE-2019 Summit is to take place in Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Almaty, Kazakhstan). Rector of South Ural State University, Aleksandr Shestakov, is going to take part in the event.
QS WORLDWIDE is a leading annual conference which regards the issues of higher education and brings together international academicians, professors and government representatives from all over the Central Asia as well as from other countries.
This year, the topic of the Summit is “Journey to Global Prominence: Harmony of Human Heritage and Advanced Technology”. Organisers of the Conference are QS and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The event has been elaborated in accordance with the policy in the sphere of education, which is targeted at modification of higher education in Kazakhstan and focused on the role of internationalization, particularly on attracting international partner institutes, which would contribute to improvement of the quality of education and allow making justified decisions.
SUSU Rector Aleksandr Shestakov is going to take part in the event. He is going to present a report entitled “Integration of the University into the Global Learning and Scientific Environment and Its Internationalisation”.
