Members of the SUSU Student Service Team Achieved Good Results in All-Russian Competition

Results of the labor semester were summarized at the closing ceremony of Yalta All-Russian consolidated student service team.

Within two months, members of Avalon service team not only worked as cooks, waiters, lifeguards or hotel maids at Yalta Inturist hotel complex, but also competed for the title of the best service team of Russia by taking part in various contests: creativity festival, spartakiad, the contest of agitation posters, etc.

By performance indicators, SUSU students took the third place. By the commissar activity, SUSU students achieved the best result, having been placed the 1st. By the sum of indicators, Avalon Student Service Team took the second place!

“This is my second trip as part of the Yalta Student Service Team. It has become special for me because I experienced it as a commissar. One thing is when you are a team member and another thing is when you are the driving power of the team who needs to incite other team members and never falter. For the entire trip, I’ve been charging from the team’s energy, they didn’t let my inner flame subside. We knew about being among the leaders and new about pulling up with Bars Student Service Team from the Republic of Tatarstan. At the time for results to be announced my heart was about to stop and my hands were shaking. In the end, the Bars got victorious. But the gap was small. Despite the tough competition, we didn’t feel like competitors. Being number two in Russia is also a worthy achievement!” says the team commissar, Valeria Grigorenko.

As a reminder, SUSU students were victorious at the All-Russian project in 2017.
