SUSU Association of International Students Invites International Volunteers

The Association of International Students is looking for active and motivated international students to help those, who came to Russia for the first time, and to participate in organizing events.

AIS has been operating for 6 years now. It includes more than 2,500 students from 56 countries all over the world. The Association is actively developing and holds a large number of events and holidays for SUSU international students. Last year, 5-6 events were held every month, and in the new academic year, even more are planned.

“We want to create an international students’ team of activists and volunteers to organize various events, learn more about Russian culture and help international students adopt to studying at SUSU,” said Uvindu Wijeweera, AIS President.

An international volunteer is an active international student, a positive and caring person who loves to help people.

The volunteering tasks will include: helping other international students adapt, assisting in organizing national holidays, sports events, and participating in many other SUSU events. In the AIS, volunteers can also become representatives of their countries.

A big-scale forum which will highlight on how international students study in Russia, URAL FEST, will be held at South Ural State University, оn November 14-16, 2019. At an event like this, you will definitely need the help of the most active.
