Spring at SUSU 2020: Students Showed Their Talents

Spring at SUSU 2020 Student Creativity Festival took place at South Ural State University March 11th through March 19th.

Spring at SUSU Festival is a traditional event, where each year students of our university show their unique talents in various creative genres.

Selection rounds at SUSU were held March 11th through March 13th. Students performed their numbers in four artistic categories: theatre, music, dance and original genre.

Then the contest round was held. The contestants, who managed to pass the selection round, fought for the chance to take part in the finals. It is important to note, that students of all the years of studying took part in the festival. The students performed mostly in the vocals and choreography categories. But there were also those who were interested in the “Art of Declamation” and even in some circus performances.

The members of the jury, that comprised competent representatives of different genres, such as the heads of the student teams of the SUSU Recreation Centre and the musicians of the Institute of Arts, faced a difficult task – to choose the best ones.

Ekaterina Tarasova, a 2nd-year student became the winner in the “Instrumental Music” nomination in the “Music” category. Ekaterina performed a piano number.

“Most of all I was awaiting different emotions! I hope that everything went as I had planned and my work was not in vain. Of course, we wanted to win.”

Prizes, new friends and opportunities, that is what the participants of the Spring at SUSU received.
