Students Abroad Are Interested in Master's Programme of the SUSU Institute of Law

The new Master's degree programme in Law and Digital Technologies, applications to which were opened in June this year, has already aroused interest among foreign applicants.

In this regard, representatives of the Institute of Law sent out invitations to participate in the International Fair of Master's Programmes, which took place online on June 21. Among the other participants were the Universities of York, Aberdeen, Turin, Paris (Sorbonne), and others.

“According to the organizers, the online fair was visited by more than 23000 people. It is a great honour for us to present our Master's degree programme to foreign applicants, as well as to colleagues from universities in the UK, Scotland, Singapore, Italy, France, and Indonesia,” said Director of SUSU Institute of Law Elena Titova.

According to the coordinator of the Master's degree programme and the SUSU Institute of Law’s Deputy Director for International Relations Elizaveta Gromova, who presented the programme, the interest from the international community can be explained by the advanced knowledge and practical skills in law that the graduates would obtain. This w would ill help them take leading positions in international legal companies (as well as in other companies), or government agencies whose activities are related to the legal aspects of the creation and use of digital technologies.

Foreign participants of the Fair were also interested in the format of the Master's degree programme, which turned out to be very popular in the conditions of the pandemic—part-time mode of study with the use of distance learning technologies.
