Today the World's Philosophers Will Meet at a SUSU Online Conference

Today an international conference on the “Philosophical Practice: Self-knowledge by Means of Intellectual Creativity” will start its work on the SUSU's virtual platform. About 450 participants from 45 countries from around the world have registered for it. The Rector of South Ural State University Aleksander Shestakov will open this scientific event.

The conference will be held in Google Meet with the support of the SUSU Institute of Open and Distance Education. Within the course of four days, July 28th through July 31st, participants from different countries around the world will be presenting modern trends in the philosophical practice. An event-packed program is offered: public lectures, panel discussions, master classes and workshops in Russian and English. Everyone is welcome to attend the event.

The SUSU Institute of Media, Social Sciences and Humanities is the organizer of this conference, and in particular, the Department of Philosophy, which was awarded grant support from the Russian Foundation for Basic Research.
