Graduates of this postgraduate programme can continue on to build a career in:

  • research and design (creation, transformation, preservation, adaptation, and use) of harmonious, comfortable and safe built environments and their component parts, monitoring the completion of projects;
  • management of design processes, design company management, administration in the architectural and design industry and in the creation of the built environment at the local and regional level;
  • theoretical understanding, critical analysis, and evaluation of architecture as a discipline and as an industry in terms of its assumptions, methods, results and consequences, evaluation of design solutions;
  • architectural pedagogy, realization of the goals of architectural education; new methods of architectural activities based on scientific research using modern information technology.

Graduates are prepared to solve the following professional tasks:

  • research: creation of new methods of architecture based on scientific research, participation in the development of tasks at the design stage, conducting applied research (pre-design, design, post-design); step-by-step development of the research structure, work with related specialists to develop research documentation;
  • communication: visualization and presentation of design solutions, participation in the defence of research materials before the public, customers, and experts;
  • organization and management: coordination of the activities of specialists and other project or research participants; management of project and research activities;
