On April 23 a special event for students who are interested in software development, i.e. the Russian final round of the Imagine Cup 2016 competition was held in Moscow. The Digital October hall welcomed smart young people who are into information technology.
The event was organized with the support of Microsoft. The best 20 student teams from all over Russia took part in these competitions. The winners were chosen in such categories as “Games”, “Social Projects” and “Innovations”. The best projects qualified for regional competitions were presented in Moscow.
The team of SUSU branch in Zlatoust represented the University with the FarAway project in the category “Game”. Our students earned second place out of 12. We congratulate the students of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Engineering Evgeny Vasiliev and Ksenia Khrycheva. Their project was highly appreciated by the judge panel and the audience.
