I sincerely congratulate you on the birthday of SUSU, on the 77th anniversary of the founding of our university!
I would like to express my gratitude to everyone for the continuous hard work, thanks to which our university is one of the leading universities in Russia.
Our university makes a worthwhile contribution to the development of Russian science and education. SUSU is the Chelyabinsk Region's major research and innovation centre, which conducts fundamental and applied research. We maintain and improve our positions in world and national university rankings.
We are constantly improving the educational process, striving for a level that meets the highest international standards. We replenish the collection of scientific achievements, successfully implement innovative projects, and establish international laboratories and collaborations.
A tough year is behind. During the pandemic all of humanity has been facing trying times. SUSU has always promptly responded to challenges, and it rose to this challenge as well. We are coping with the emerging tasks with dignity. An effective and stable distance learning system has been created.
We are still focused on leadership. Our university continues to develop dynamically, and we are confidently moving towards new heights. I am convinced that in the future we will be able to find the right solutions in the difficult realities of our life.
I would like to thank the academic and administrative staff of SUSU for their professionalism, responsible attitude to their work, and dedication to our university! I would like to thank the postgraduates and students for their hard work, and proactive and creative approach to it! SUSU has everything to help you fully reveal your scientific and creative potential. We are always ready to support your endeavours.

I am sure that our joint effort will help us maintain our leading positions in the future as well.
