SUSU Is Always with You: Study from Anywhere around the World

In today's world, more and more people are seeking higher education, but many face the problem of being away from home, family, and work. Using distance technologies, education has become more accessible. The Institute of Open and Distance Education (IODE) of South Ural State University offers a unique opportunity to obtain a higher education from anywhere in the world.

Distance learning is a modern and innovative form of education which provides unique opportunities for students to obtain quality higher education without being bound to a certain place or time. It is important to realise that distance learning requires high self-control, discipline, and diligence. You just need desire, a stable internet connection, and a computer. The teaching staff of South Ural State University have done their best to make interesting courses with useful content and create an open dialogue with tutors.

One of the main advantages of distance education at SUSU is the opportunity to choose the form of study that best suits your needs and schedule. Academic programmes are offered in three forms: full-time, part-time and distance learning. You can organise your studies so that they do not interfere with your work and family life.

A distinctive feature of distance learning is the use of a powerful platform where educational content is accumulated and systematised. The teaching staff has developed a well-planned and selected system of courses which provides the necessary knowledge and skills and is hosted on the Electronic SUSU platform. Each student can independently build a learning schedule; if they do not have time to attend the broadcast for personal reasons, a recording of the class will be available at convenient time.

SUSU IODE offers a wide range of technical and humanities majors so that every student can find their true vocation and develop in their chosen field. At the Bachelor's level, students can choose such majors as economics, state and municipal administration, law, management, pedagogical education, construction, electric power engineering and electrical engineering, design and technological support of machinery production, metallurgy, informatics and computer science. Master's programmes include economics, state and municipal administration, law and pedagogical education.

The university offers various discounts on tuition for those enrolling on a paid basis.

In addition, you can transfer from another university to distance learning at SUSU at any time during the academic year. At the SUSU IODE you will be able to obtain an education in a comfortable environment while being located in any part of the world. To transfer to distance learning at South Ural State University, students must fill out an application on the institute's website.

IODE students receive many benefits from distance education:

         •        flexible schedule;

         •        ability to study from anywhere in the world without taking time away from their other affairs, their work, or their family;

         •        fast and effective interaction between students and teachers;

         •        use of modern technologies in the teaching process;

         •        open access to educational materials;

         •        learning in a relaxed and comfortable environment.

The traditional part-time form of education is also gaining wide popularity—at South Ural State University, various humanities and technical majors are offered in part-time form.

Distance learning allows students to combine study and work. Acquired competences contribute to their competitiveness in the labour market. And the labour experience gained during their studies gives an incomparable advantage to career and professional growth.

Every year more than 1000 people enrol at SUSU for distance learning, choosing relevant and promising academic programmes.
