Personnel Advanced Training Program for Russia’s First Robot Plant Presented to Vladimir Putin

One of the highlights in the program of the Russian President’s visit to Chelyabinsk was Russia’s first Robot Plant created at the premises of Chelyabinsk Forge-and-Press Plant in record time.

The company pays special attention to training future personnel to implement the ambitious goals for industry development and import substitution set by our country's leadership. The implementation of a big-scale project in cooperation with South Ural State University has begun. The project includes:

− opening the Press Forging with Elements of Artificial Intelligence Research and Education Complex at SUSU;

– creating Mechanical Engineering and Robotics Research and Production Association (NPA MIR);

– opening of world-class laboratories such as Prototyping and Parts Manufacturing Laboratory, Electronics Prototyping Laboratory, and Geometry Control and Metrology Laboratory at the premises of the Inter-university Campus.

The plans of our university and the enterprise include the creation of Youth Design Bureau and Project Management Centre, which will allow for the design and implementation of innovative developments by young engineers into production.

Starting from 2024, students of South Ural State University will begin targeted training in practice-oriented educational programmes in several areas: Motor Transport, Energy Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, and Materials Science and Technology. Specialists of Chelyabinsk Forge-and-Press Plant will take an active part in the educational process, organization of practical training and subsequent employment of graduates.
