Another group of students from Trade and Economic Faculty went to China

On March 11 ten students from Trade and Economic Faculty within the academic mobility program went to Chine to study over there for one semester. The group is accompanied by Irina Yu. Potoroko, Vice Dean of the Faculty.

For these 16 weeks the students from Trade EconomicsCommodity Science and Consumer Products Inspection, and Business and Competitiveness Valuation Departments of Trade and Economic Faculty will study within the framework of academic mobility program at Shandong Institute of Business and Technology (Yantai, Shandong province).

The specialties which will be covered by the students are included in the block of economics disciplines; these are financial management, quality audit, fundamentals of experiment theory, enterprise economics and others. One part of the disciplines the students will study over there at Shandong Institute and the other part will be studied online. The participants of this program will have a unique chance to compare the effectiveness of teaching in Russia and china in practice; they will master their business English, visit several high-quality production plants of China, start learning the Chinese language and get acquainted with a unique Chinese culture. In particular, the students will be offered some special optional courses such as calligraphy, origami and martial arts.

Besides, within two weeks of vacation the students will be offered different excursion trips around the country. During their trips they will have a chance to visit super modern Chinese metropolises (it should be noted that a city of one million population is not considered to be large), see ancient pagodas, walk along the Great Wall of China and enjoy other surprising and unique things.

The results of the semester will be reflected in the certificates which can be used in the future for the further education or employment.

We would like to remind that you can apply for the summer language courses in China in the Dean's Office of Trade and Economic Faculty.
