Amir Ali, a student of South Ural State University who came to Chelyabinsk from Iraq, has created a plaster sculpture for SUSU Museum.

Student Amir Ali came to Chelyabinsk almost 5 months ago. According to his words, he is very happy to study at the largest university of the Ural. Out of thanks for his invitation to SUSU, he decided to make a plaster sculpture as a gift to the university.

“This sculpture is called ‘The Tsar of Babylon – Nebuchadnezzar’. He is very well-known in Iraq. I decided to create this for the SUSU Museum. The sculpture is made of plaster and took me around three weeks to finish it. Overall I began creating plaster sculptures around 8 years ago, and I like my hobby. If it is possible, I would like to organize my own exhibition at SUSU,” said student Amir Ali.

At the present time, Amir Ali is completing the university course of Russian as a Foreign Language and is planning on enrolling to SUSU’s Institute of Law upon completion of the course.
