SUSU Postgraduates Make It to the Contest Final in the All-Russian Forum

Postgraduates from South Ural State University (SUSU) will present their research works at one of the major all-Russian forums. The international scientific community will be able to appreciate the works by the university's young researchers.

Postgraduate students from South Ural State University participate in the VI Science of the Future – Science of the Youth all-Russian forum and international conference. This is one of the major cross-disciplinary scientific events in Russia.

Within the frameworks of the forum, a contest of research works is held among postgraduates. Seven SUSU students and postgraduates submitted their works for the contest, and two of them made it to the final:

Anastasiia Chvanova, postgraduate of the Department of Automation Engineering (academic advisor is Viktor Shalamov) – field of Transport Systems, Mechanical Engineering, and Power Engineering;

Andrei Blinov, postgraduate of the Department of Informational and Analytical Support of Control in Social and Economic Systems (academic advisor is Aleksandr Gollai) – field of Information Technology and Mathematics.

"Participation in such contests is very useful not only from the point of view of trying out and presenting the results of works, but also because it gives a chance to meet with leading scientists and discuss these works with them, and to do the scientific networking. I am sure that this will help our postgraduates to take a look at their work at a different angle, and to see the effective directions of its development," shared the Head of the SUSU Centre for Doctoral Studies Nataliia Shaburova.

The postgraduates, who became the contest finalists, will present the results of their work in person before the international scientific community and the expert council of the Science of the Future – Science of the Youth forum.

After the defence, the results of the all-Russian contest of research works in each section will be summed up, and the winners will be announced. All the contest finalists will be awarded certificates of participation.

The in-person round of the Science of the Future – Science of the Youth forum will be held November 17th through November 20th.
