Starting from November 1st, applications for participation in the Startup as a Diploma contest are open. The contest is organized at SUSU as part of the implementation of the action plan of the Priority 2030 program in order to involve talented students into development of the technological entrepreneurship ecosystem and support innovative student businesses at their initial stage.
Any Bachelor’s, Specialist or Master’s degree student graduating this year from SUSU can present their unique business ideas and become a participant of the contest.
Graduation qualification work in the format of the Startup as a Diploma is a business project, created by one or a number of students and can be presented as a:
- technology startup
- startup in the field of social entrepreneurship
- startup as a business project implemented in the field of economics
- startup in the field of creative industries.
As part of the contest, you can obtain:
- Developed project in the field of technological entrepreneurship (startup), aimed at creating a unique product or technology
- Opportunity to conclude an agreement with business representatives and receive financing
- Professional competencies and portfolio for future employers
- Additional points for admission to the next level of education at SUSU (National Research University).
Authors of best entrepreneurial projects will receive a grant from the university and the opportunity to receive one million roubles as part of the Student Startup state support for student entrepreneurial projects for their development.
Dates of the contest: November 2023 through May 2024.
Applications are accepted November 1, 2023 through December 11, 2023 via this link.
The results of the contest summed up: April 24 through May 8, 2024.
