November 14th through November 16th, South Ural State University will host a big-scale Ural Festival of Students (URAL FEST) Forum dedicated to international students studying in Russian universities. The event is held by the South Ural Association of International Students, which is located at SUSU.
An event-packed program is prepared for the participants of the URAL FEST Forum. On November 15th, which is the second day of the Forum, educational trainings, international excursions, cultural, entertainment, and sports events will be organized. All of it will allow the participants to have a fresh look at the development of international ties in the field of education, make promising contacts and contribute to the internationalization of Russian universities.
Educational Trainings
Educational trainings will be held at South Ural State University during the first half of the day November 15th. The topics will include: “Professional Growth, Career”, “Public Speaking” and “Intercultural Communication”. The trainings are to be held by the Moscow experts of the Global Alumni Alliance (alliance of higher education institutions graduates). Everyone interested is welcome.
The trainings are to be held at: 3rd floor, Sigma Building, 78 В Lenin Prospect, from 11:45 to 13:45.
Sports Games
Every year, the Association of International Students hosts International Sports Festival, which the members of the SUSU sports club “Uralskiy sokol” help to organize. This year, the Sports Festival is to be held within the frameworks of the URAL FEST Forum.
Five types of sports games, including chess, flatball, tug of war, darts and "vesyolyye starty" (mock mixed sports competition) will be held at South Ural State University during the second half of the day November 15th. Teams, consisting of 6 people (3 girls and 3 boys), will be competing for prizes. The awarding ceremony will be held at the URAL FEST Forum closing ceremony November 16th.
The sports games will be held at the SUSU indoor athletic stadium, 60 Soni Krivoy Str.
URAL FEST will bring together students and alumni from different countries, who chose Russian universities to gain prestigious higher education. Experts from Moscow and participants of the Forum from Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Tyumen, Orenburg, Kurgan, Ufa and other cities will discuss the specifics of studying for international students and new-for-them living conditions, intercultural communication, effective cooperation between students, alumni and the university, and many other questions.
